David Smith
Partner
David is the founder and Managing Partner of Creative Links International Inc. Established in 1994, the company was the result of a desire to offer organizations, leaders and teams a unique approach to enhancing organizational effectiveness.
David developed the Creative PerformanceTM, a powerful tool for coaching and developing people to be their most effective and productive self on both a personal and professional level. When combined with his cultural assessment and his formal training in systems thinking, PROSCI Change Management and Continuous Improvement, David can assist organizations build the structure, processes and skills needed for sustainable success.
David has applied his skillsets working with a variety of private and non-profit organizations over the years. He has an educational background in Recreational Therapy and Psychology. He also obtained a 40-ton Master Mariners ticket to own and operate a sailing charter business on the West Coast.
Pat Hufnagel-Smith
Partner
Pat is a Managing Partner of Creative Links International Inc. She joined the organization in 2002, expanding the outreach and scope of services that Creative Links Inc offers to include project management and labour market research and analysis.
Prior to joining Creative Links, Pat worked in human resources with a specialization in talent recruitment and retention, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Two areas she is passionate about 1) facilitating effective transition of skilled workers to ensure Canada is optimizing its labour force in our ever-changing economy, and 2) using labour market intelligence to develop evidence-based action plans related to talent and creating long-term value for communities involved in energy development.
In addition to her BA in Sociology and Certificate in Adult Education and Facilitation, Pat holds a Master's Certificate in Project Management, enabling a strong approach to planning, executing, and managing projects for both private and public organizations.
Parker Smith
Associate
Parker is the newest member of Creative Links Inc., joining the organization in early 2023 to provide oversight on day-to-day operations and project coordination.
Parker's background is in the service and hospitality industry, managing large-scale restaurant and bars, where he honed skills in coaching and communicating with people from all walks of life.
Prior to his career transition, Parker acquired his Certificate of Project Management from Mount Royal University and has completed the Leadership Development Program through the University of Alberta.
Jared Smith
Associate
Jared is an Associate of Creative Links International Inc. He joined the organization in 2022, leading the development of interactive data visualize products in Tableau.
Jared received a diploma in Information Technology Software Development from SAIT in 2022. Jared has used his skills in software and IT to assist Creative Links in all uses of technology, including designing and building the Creative Links website.
Jared also teaches percussion in the Round Up Marching Band, and is an alumni of the Calgary Stampede Showband.
